Star in our “Mask On” Music Video

The team behind the “Wash Your Hands” Music Video is ready to tackle MASKS and we need your help! We’re looking for kids and families to star in our Mask On Music Video!

 

How can we participate?

Take & Share Videos: Please send videos of your kid(s) wearing their masks to ericarabnermusic@gmail.com with the subject “Mask On Music Video.” Ideas and details below!

Grant Permission: Include a sentence granting us permission to use the footage of your kid(s). Thank you!

Quality:

  • Videos need to be shot HORIZONTALLY so remember to flip your phone!

  • iPhone works but we’d love the highest quality settings you have:

    • Go to settings and select 4K or HD - thanks!

  • Audio: We’ll be using Erica’s “Mask On” song as the soundtrack so we will not hear your audio. Feel free to talk to your child while filming, or play the song for them. We love when parents coach, experiment, and have fun with it! (We love having your eyes to help us out!)

What should I film?

  • Feel free to send as many video clips as you’d like or send one long or short video!

  • Picking their mask up (from where it normally lives), putting it on, smiling (with the mask on!)

  • Pointing at their smile/smile

  • Dancing with their mask on (or any other fun moves you wanna have or show us!). 

  • Have your child about to leave the house- stop and remember they need a mask- go back to get it, put it on and leave. 

  • While wearing a mask: shaking head yes, shaking head no, making a 'sometimes' gesture. 

  • Adjusting the mask/being uncomfortable with it (itchy, foggy etc).

Bonus Shots!

Can I involve my family and friends? Absolutely! Feel free to pass this opportunity along to family and friends. You can also include them in your filming *so long as you can do it safely!* Here are a few shots we’d love if they are possible!

  • Wearing masks while hanging with family members (i.e. Grandpa/Grandma; Mom; Baby Sibling; Siblings)

  • Wearing a mask and waving (6 ft away please!) at neighbors and friends (feel free to have non featured family stand in for neighbors and friends!) 

  • Waving in front of a school while wearing a mask
